My wonderful boyfriend recently was patient enough to teach me how to finally be able to do these magic eye things, they are super neat! once you get it you can do it so easily. I'm a pro now, ill bet on it!

the trick to seeing it is to almost blur your vision and both look at the image but also practically try to look THROUGH it...insane. just try it out!

This is a set of screen shots i took on Google street view recently, sometimes its the best thing possible when you really miss somewhere or are just wondering what a place looks like. I found it was almost like walking around in the past.. i noticed things weren't as they are now, also noting that the images were taken in 2009 i believe.(at least the parts of the world i was looking at)


I was inspired by Jon Rafman's work titled '9 Eyes'. Rafman searches through google street view seeking out the incredible moments that were captured but somehow was overlooked. Some of the shots are absolutely incredible (like set as your desktop background incredible) and some are so funny and odd.


i sincerely recommend you take a look at Rafman's work as well as playing around on street view.

I hope everyone had a fantastic reading week.. to make up for my overwhelming week of chaos!

from work to homework to feelings of guilt for not doing homework vs guilt for not enjoying/relaxing during reading week..such a dilemma!
anyways though...tonight i decided to get back to work on some shooting but started rather slowly..in fact i ended up playing dress up for a while
this is the result!

if you have a black berry, you might be familiar with your camera setting on the phone turning on all on its own taking pictures of the strangest things creating the strangest abstract images. recently i have been playing with these images trying to figure out what i can do with them
